TikTok App now available for Android TV

TikTok is officially available for Android TV. This short video sharing platform is extremely popular among the youth. However, a few days ago there was bad news for its Indian users. The Indian government has permanently banned TikTok Ban in India, including a total of 59 apps. The app was banned last year, but now it has got a permanent ban, which makes it clear that TikTok will no longer return to India. However, the app is still being used extensively in other countries, and in view of this, the developers have officially released it for Android TV as well.

TikTok is now available on the Play Store on Chromecast with Google TV as an Android TV app. It states that the app is currently available in some areas. They did not find this app on Mi TV Box's Play Store after checking by publication.

At the same time, Android Police says that you can watch videos without signing in to this app and if you are interested to see the list you have created, you can also sign in to the app. The videos reportedly also play on TV in portrait mode. The app has also been made easy to control. To watch the next or previous video, you have to use the right and left navigation buttons respectively, and pressing the "More" button gives other options.

Let us tell you that 59 Chinese companies including TikTok (Tittock), WeChat (WeChat) have been banned in India. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) banned these apps last year. Earlier sources told Gadgets 360 that the government had sought answers to some questions related to collecting and using user data from all those apps companies after the ban. The ban appears that the government was not satisfied with the answers given by the companies.
